Saint Patrick School Students Outperform National Average
Each year, students at St. Patrick School are challenged academically and are measured by their achievement and growth. To measure growth, St. Patrick School utilizes the NWEA Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) assessment, a national test used by more than 13 million students, throughout the year. The latest data shows, that across every grade level, Saint Patrick students outpaced the national average in all three tested subjects reading, math, and language usage.
This tremendous growth is a testament to the in class instruction that has been a foundation of St. Patrick School for over a hundred years. Last year, administration implemented intentional technology use across middle school and this year will roll it out to all grades. In addition, educators collaborated throughout the year during common planning time to discuss strategies and learn from one another, which strengthened all aspects of the learning model.
As we enter the 2026-2027 school year, St. Patrick School’s Principal, Mrs. Allison Schmidheiser is dedicated to the continued success and growth of the student body. “Our students always amaze me. I am excited to see what we can achieve this year and where our learning will take us,” she noted. Saint Patrick School has a longstanding reputation for offering a rigorous curriculum to all students and meeting each one where they are allowing them to be the best they can be. Now, over 100 years later, St. Patrick School remains a leader in academic excellence.
We look forward to the new school year and are excited for the new opportunities that lie ahead.
