Cross Country Team Celebrates the End of a Great Season!

Our students had a great day at the end-of-season league meet at Bishop Fenwick in Peabody on Sunday, October 18.

Seventeen of our cross-country team members completed the 1.4 mile course. They ran hard and cheered for each other when they weren't racing. The president of Bishop Fenwick welcomed us and led everyone in a prayer together with all of our fellow Catholic school students, coaches, and parents from around the region. What a great way to start the competition!

We had picture-perfect weather and we had some impressive finishers!

  • Sophia T. in seventh grade came in 15th overall among the varsity girls, earning a medal.

  • Jackson G. in fourth grade came in seventh overall among the JV boys, earning a medal.

  • Luke K. and Mia D. were also top 20 finishers among the JV Boys and Girls, respectively.

It was a very competitive field, with hundreds of runners, and all of our St. Patrick school runners should be so proud of themselves and each other for what they accomplished this season.

Coaches Michelle D. and Meg R. are very grateful to all of the parents and kids for making their way to the various meets and spending many of their fall afternoons at races. And Saint Patrick School is forever grateful to coaches Michelle and Meg for their time, dedication, and support of our students. It truly takes a village!
